On Hold and Rehire

We’ve added a couple of features around employee management that might save you some time.

On Hold

If you have temporary employees then you’ll be familiar with the ability to filter payruns based on employees that are being paid and those that aren’t.

This works for most situations, but sometimes you want to put an employee “on hold” and exclude them from payruns until further notice.

Now you can.

Details are in the User Guide.

Rehire

If an employee re-joins after leaving, you can’t simple un-mark them as a leaver.

Instead you have to create a new employee record with a new payroll code.

It’s annoying to have to re-enter details that are already in the system. So we’ve added the ability to rehire an employee and automatically copy the details across. Including P45 values if relevant.

More info here.
