We’ve just added notes to Employees so that you can store extra tidbits of information.

You can access the notes by choosing a employee and switching to the new Notes tab.

The app itself uses our API. So everything you can do in the app you can also do programatically via the API, as such you’ll see that Notes are available in the API.

Import / Export

We’ve added a lot of additional fields to the Employee CSV Export recently, including support for creating them on an import.

The new Notes are no exception. When exporting employee data you can choose to include up to the 5 most recent notes and the same fields are supported when you import employee data via CSV.

If you’ve using CSVs to import data and find any fields to be missing or not doing as you would hope or expect then please do let us know.
